This yarn is as local as it gets! The wool is 100% Shetland from the Pleasant Prairie shepherd here in the Spokane, Washington area. After sheering, the fleeces were taken to the Fibers First Mill in Post Falls, Idaho where they were spun into this 2-ply fingering weight yarn.
