Berroco has its roots as a woolen mill that was built in Massachusetts in 1809. It was one of the first woolen mills in the United States and has survived the Great Depression, two world wars and weathered the changing times and demands in the world of textiles.
Over the centuries the mill changed hands and eventually morphed into the yarn company that we know and love today. They import fine yarns from around the world including the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, Romania, Brazil, and Peru.
