Malabrigo Arroyo is a soft and sturdy sport weight yarn that is a favorite amongst knitters and crocheters alike! It’s perfect for those everyday lightweight (but warm) garments, and the superwash wool means it’s easy to take care of. Think of it as Rios' baby brother! (And speaking of babies, it’s perfect for them too.)

A Note on working with dyed yarns:
Be sure to get enough yarn to complete your project since each bag is a different dye lot, and skeins may vary from bag to bag. Some of the colorways, like Arco Iris, may even vary from skein to skein. To ensure random color distribution, work from two balls of yarn at once, alternating a few rows from each ball.
The needle size that is best for giving nice stitch definition is a US 4. However, this yarn also knits up beautifully with a size 6. The larger the needle size, the drape your piece of work will have. It works for shawls and is great for baby things. Shop our ChiaoGoo needles and enjoy the fast, fun knit you get with Arroyo and the right size of ChiaoGoo Circular Needles. Check out our needles here.
The best part of this yarn is the colors. They are stunning alone and blend together really well. No one does color better than Malabrigo and no yarn takes color as dramatically as Merino wool. Enjoy picking out your favorite!
