J7273: Beginning Weaving Part III: Weaving

Beginning Weaving Part III: Weaving is the last class in a 3 part series.  This final part of the series covers how to weave cloth using your loom and a shuttle.  In addition to learning how to use your shuttle, you learn now to keep your selvages even and how to add new thread to the woven piece.  You learn the tricks to advancing your warp and resetting it so that the cloth is at the proper tension.  You will find out how to finish the edges of your weaving.  Finally, you get to take your work off the loom which is the most satisfying part of the whole process.  If you spin your own yarn and want to make something that will last, learn to weave during this fantastic 3-part series of classes!  From start to finish, your weaving experience will be fun and educational.

If you take all three classes, you get a 10% discount on the price of the series.  If you choose to take this class a-l-carte without the previous 2 classes in the series, we have one dressed loom available (Please call (509)368-9527 ahead of time to give us a heads up).  We highly recommend taking the series because of the way the classes are integrated together.
