Beginning Weaving Part II: Dressing a Loom class is all about getting a loom dressed with the warp you wound for your scarf in Part I. You learn how to take the warp and thread it onto the heddles, reed, and how to wind it onto the warp beam. Terms sound foreign? Judy, your instructor, will have you rattling them off like an expert by the end of the class! Threading warp onto a loom takes focus, patience, and the ability to enjoy the process. You will learn the tricks for threading correctly. Winding the warp on the warp beam is easy when you know how to tie the thread in place for easy wrapping.
You may bring your own loom if you wish or you can use one of the shop looms. The shop loom work well and are fun to use. You must bring your own warp if you did not take Part I of the series.
Note: If you sign up for all three classes, you get 10% off the cost of the series.
